Syntopicon
This syntopicon is an adaptation of Adler’s argument from the Great Books of the Western World to summarize the great thoughts and goals of Western Philosophers. Adler offered specific topics from Homer to Freud.
This Syntopicon includes stories, insights, practices, and philosophies from the ancient 108 Karana postures of Shiva and Shakti, the Tibetan Dozchen Mandala, and the Thai contemplative Buddhadasa Bhikkhu.
Western Philosophies tend to be linear, while Eastern Philosophies tend to suggest that Truths, Falsehoods, and Paradoxes are extreme cases of balanced tranquility.
